2. After pleas from his lawyer and father-in-law, the Radio Biafra director decided to disembark from the van as security operatives discuss the little ‘drama’ they just witnessed.

3. Led by his lawyer, Kanu looked dejected, pale and somewhat withdrawn even as the security operatives kept a watchful eye on him.
4. Still looking forlorn, Kanu is joined by his other associates giving him moral support as he makes his way to the court room.
5. Seated in the court room, Kanu again raised eyebrows when he refused to allow the prison warden attached to him remove the handcuff in his hand. He said to the prison official, ”I want to wear it.” Then, he turned to journalists present in the court room, saying, ”this is what they want to see, see it”
6. Kanu’s lawyer and father-in-law steps in again to calm the situation, pleading with the IOPB leader to allow the prison official remove the handcuff, after which Kanu reluctantly agreed. The prison official subsequently puts his hand into his breast pocket to bring out the key and unlocked the handcuff.
7. Court session over, Kanu confers with another associate of his outside the court room with the heavily armed security personnel still keeping a close watch on him.
8. Escorted by hordes of security personnel and prison officials out of the court room, Kanu looks changed from the sad countenance he put up earlier, to a man determined to see this trial to the end.
9. On their part, Kanu’s legal team and his father-in-law brainstorm on the way forward for their client and loved one……
10. ….Even as Kanu finds his way back to the van and indeed back to Kuje prisons where he is been held.
